Ante is a software engineer with more than 15 years of experience building scalable, reliable systems across backend development, build engineering and quality assurance - the kind of rigour that handling sensitive pay and compensation data demands.
In his most recent role as a Software Developer at Zendesk, he architected and built a high-performance Ruby on Rails application on an event-sourcing architecture, processing 30,000 requests per minute. He owned his work end to end, from design through to production, drove incident response and post-mortems to keep customer-impacting issues short and rare, and built the performance-monitoring systems that kept the platform stable as it scaled.
Earlier in his career he spent several years in build engineering, including at Unity Technologies, where he managed high-volume build infrastructure supporting around 10,000 concurrent builds a day at 99%+ uptime. That grounding in reliability, automation and quality assurance runs through everything he does.
