Jan is a senior software engineer with 15+ years of experience building and improving the technical foundations that make modern products reliable, scalable, and fast to deliver. With deep expertise across DevOps, CI/CD, release automation, cloud infrastructure, and test automation, he has spent his career helping teams ship with higher quality, without slowing down.
Over the years, Jan has worked across a wide range of industries and organisations, where he has redesigned DevOps codebases, developed reusable infrastructure-as-code solutions, and rolled out test automation frameworks that strengthen reliability and increase delivery speed. In recent years, he has focused strongly on cloud-based deployments and microservices architecture.
Jan is known for being independent, adaptable, and highly collaborative, thriving in agile teams where clean processes and strong communication are key. He takes pride in creating systems that are not only functional, but maintainable and resilient.
At PayGap, Jan will be in charge of developing many of the heavy backend modules, while ensuring the platform scales well as the client base grows.
Jan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Design of Information Systems (Informatics) from Lund University.
