Jovita Valatkaitė is an Associate Partner and Head of the Employment Law Practice Group at COBALT Lithuania. She advises on a broad range of employment law matters, including individual and collective employment relations, executive and board member issues, employment disputes, discrimination prevention, pay transparency, and employee data protection. Her practice covers the full employment lifecycle, from drafting and negotiating employment contracts to advising on terminations, complex reorganisations, works council and trade union matters, share option schemes, and remote work arrangements.
Jovita has extensive experience representing clients before labour dispute commissions and courts, and regularly supports clients in strategically sensitive employment matters, including large-scale restructurings and cross-border projects. She is actively involved in international initiatives related to the implementation of European Union law, including the EU Pay Transparency and Platform Work Directives, and coordinates cooperation among COBALT’s employment law teams across the Baltic states.
She is recognised by Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner and by Chambers Europe as a Rising Star, and is also recommended as an employment law expert. Jovita is a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association.
