Piotr is a pay equity and compensation analytics specialist who pairs deep statistical expertise with hands-on implementation experience across organisations of every size.
As an Implementation Consultant at PayGap, he leads platform implementations end to end, from onboarding and project management through to training and ongoing support,. and designs compliance processes aligned with the EU Pay Transparency Directive. He works closely with clients to translate their needs into product requirements, build clear documentation and guides, and help teams interpret their pay equity data through rigorous statistical analysis.
Before joining PayGap, he spent over two years as a Senior Consultant at Mercer, specialising in pay equity, compensation analytics and regulatory compliance for clients ranging from fewer than 200 to more than 100,000 employees. There he built defensible regression models to isolate and explain the drivers of pay differences, created consistent job categories so comparisons stay fair and auditable, and developed Python-based tools to validate and clean data ahead of analysis. including DIVE, a data-inspection engine that automates the detection of inconsistencies. He also built automated reporting solutions that turn raw data into polished, decision-ready insight, and advised clients on EU and CSRD reporting readiness.
What sets Piotr apart is the analytical foundation beneath this work: a PhD in computational modelling and a research background in high-performance and statistical computing, which he brings to bear on the data-heavy challenges of pay equity. He has a particular talent for translating technical results into plain language and clear visuals for leadership and non-technical stakeholders, prioritising actions that are pragmatic and measurable.
Alongside his consulting work, Piotr lectures on programming languages in finance and has spent several years as a university teaching assistant, helping students and professionals build their coding skills. He works fluently in Polish and English.
